Mah Jong is a universally-loved game – enjoyed worldwide.   The first known Mah Jong set likely appeared in the 19th century – probably around 1870.  The game is comprised of 144 tiles depicting calligraphy and symbolism.  The complex rules revolve around drawing and discarding tiles. Today, Four of the most popular Mah Jong tiles depict the Chinese symbols for the 4 winds – East, West, North & South. The gift set is comprised of 12 individual bars of soap – lightly scented.
